The current AAU basketball and club soccer systems prioritize profit. Not athlete development and certainly not the health of their tendons and ligaments.

Yes. I’m coaching an AAU team. Yes. We run the same plays as Lightning Basketball. He’s my mentor/best friend. Why is everyone so surprised? Pretty sure he runs a play called Cortland. Everyone, get out of my face.

Got back coaching with Lightning this weekend - back to my roots. I fell more in love with basketball, didn’t even know that was possible. The process and the pure desire to improve is so apparent at the high school level. Thank you Lightning Basketball for giving me the opportunity!
