Greg Abbott claims his private school voucher scam is wildly popular. But when I offered an amendment to put vouchers on the ballot, the Governor threatened and bullied lawmakers into opposing it. Greg Abbott is telling on himself—he knows Texans don’t want his voucher scam.

From afar, it appears the prevailing view in TXLege Senate is this: Parents know best, except when they choose a public school. Teachers know best, except when they work in a public school. School administrators know best except when they are public school administrators.
