The Mtn. Lions finish the season with a record of 22-10, 13th Region All-A Champions, All-A State Classic Quarterfinalists, 51st District Champions & 13th Region Semi-finalists.

Thank you to our school, community & fans for the support throughout the season! This team is one that will be remembered & talked about for a long time to come. Go Mtn. Lions!

Malachi Moreno is special in many ways beyond his basketball ability! He’s pretty good on the court too.

“Players & coaches win games, administrators win championships.” Thankful for the support given to our @PinevilleMBB program by our school board, superintendent, principals & athletic director. We could not have achieved what we did this season without their efforts!

Advice I would give to basketball athletes after watching this NCAA tourney… PRIORITZE THE WEIGHT ROOM! 🏋️‍♂️💪

Everyone’s path is different. Run your own race. Do the best you can where you are. Build real relationships and put effort into others. Dream big and keep going!

Kentucky/Louisville on a Tuesday night in early November doesn’t sit right with me, especially this season with both projected in the preseason top 10.

Proud of our kids for this, even more so than the on the court success we had this season. Our Class of 2025 @PinevilleMBB Mtn. Lions were awarded over half a million dollars in total 4 year scholarship value! Great group of kids that set the bar high for future Mtn. Lions!

Easiest solution to this gripe would be if all Power 4 conferences agreed to play 8 conference games, 2 or 3 buy games and at least one non-conference game against another Power 4 team. It would be uniform and easier to objectively identify the best teams.
