Some kids are better AAU players, some are better HS players and some are great at camps. It’s always good to watch the kids in multiple settings to fully evaluate. Every setting isn’t the best for every player.

Thank you to all the coaches who reached out this week to learn and talk about our 2027s and incoming players. Word is getting out that good things are coming from the Ville! #successhasanaddress Greg Firth The Orangeville Prep

25 years ago, this man taught me about networking but more importantly the power of relationships. A special moment to have him share that same message to Emma Firth . Thank you Shawn O'Rourke for taking the time to reconnect.

Credit needs to be given to Coach Carly Clarke for that play call. Clearly says she has the play at the time out and draws it up in the timeout. Credit given to a veteran HC Fortner, to give that responsibility with the game on the line.

Too many players can’t function w/out the ball in their hands. Can you cut with purpose? Do you space the floor properly? Can you make the right read off of a teammates drive or screen? These are the habits and skills that separate good from great.

Never got into coaching and teaching for the accolades, but I really appreciate the messages from parents this morning thanking us for looking after their children and keeping them safe. It's always more than X's and O's.

17u players…for most of you, today is you last day playing AAU basketball. Your parents have spent thousands, used vacation time, worked in the car and from hotels, been nervous for you, and have had many sleepless nights. Thank them, hug them, tell them you love them.

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to every single player on this team. This season wasn’t just about wins and losses—it was about growth, heart, and unity. You showed up, gave your all, and represented KiaNurseElite with pride and character every single day.
