Cam Ward... No flashy jewelry. No flashy suit. No flashy girlfriend hogging the attention. Just a regular suit, thin chain, alma mater pin, and his parents by his side. Yeah he's playing 20 years of pro bowl football.

Holy Sh*t: The legendary Cris Carter goes OFF on Shedeur Sanders for throwing away at least $30 to $50 million in the NFL Draft, and makes it clear he doesn't believe the NFL owners colluded against him: "Sheduer and his family overplayed their hands...They taught him a great

Travel ball did it again. Another family paying $3,000 to have their kid on the B Team so they can then pay a few thousand bucks a weekend to travel out of state to play teams form the very state they just came from so that “college coaches” can see their 12 year old compete.

You got to be ok charting the plays before you get to call the plays. What’s done in the dark will always come to light. Have a process, habits & consistency, be intentional, have a strong why & purpose. He will provide!

Yesterday a D1 coach stopped by and asked about a player who transferred out and said, “I know how you run your program, if they can’t play for you, they can’t play for us.” So proud of what our staff & players have built…More than football !

Best coaching quote I’ve ever heard… The great Jim Lambright (RIP 🫡) said to us: “We don’t need the offense to win games. We’re the only unit that can score and stop them from scoring.” Trust me - Team > ME, but my roots as a defensive coach were solidified that day 😄

"I do think Mint is a better way to play most runs. I think you force the ball to the apex players. I think it's a better way to play split safety coverage because you don't have to worry about gap deficiencies because you're playing inside-out with the nose and 4i's."
