Jonaven Joseph! Out of lane 8 places 3rd and all-conference in the 110 hurdles with a PR of :15.69

Zachyah Clay!!! PR of :13.03 For 3rd place in the 100m dash. #6 on the East all-time list!

Juliet Zink soars to a 3rd place finish in pole vault and all-conference honors!

Claire Porinsky with a runner-up finish in the 800!

Zach Walcott with a 13” PR for 20’8.25 in long jump and third place all-conference honors! An East all-time #6 mark!

Finn Ferguson PRs to sneak into finals then PRs again to place 7th at the 9th grade Oakland County Meet, taking down Mike McCarthy’s 9 year old freshman record with a 3’ PR of 37’7.5”!!

Seeded 9th, the 4x8 team of Emmett Zelma, Jack Szukatis, Aiden Quenby, and Nikhil Ball placed 5th with a freshmen class record of 9:16.1!

Big “get to” day for our throwers and Oakland County qualifiers!

Appreciation post for our guy with the biggest laugh on staff, Coach Randy Smith, who once again is going to strap poles to his vehicle and bring a pole vaulter to the State Meet. Top notch patience & development with kids, and flexibility with the weather year in and year out.

Hard work, dedication, and belief. All on repeat the last 4 years. Beyond excited to watch Juliet Zink compete at the State Meet. Grateful of who she’s been as a teammate and leader in the days, weeks, and months leading up to this moment.

Freshman Nikhil Ball goes 4:56 & 4:59 for a 9:55.77 in the 3200 at the MITCA Meet of Champions. Just the second sub-10 in school history!

Had a goal of finishing a non-running/coaching book by the end of T&F season; settled for finishing before the end of the school year. A remarkable read on the Emmett Till story. Thoroughly researched, incredibly written, and still all too relevant.
