Despite my hatred for the new CFP model, this is a much needed fix. This is how the playoff should have looked in the first place. All teams seeded 1-12 as they are ranked. No auto byes for conference champs, just auto bids.

1.) I don’t think byes are that much of a reward. 2.) getting a first round home game is still on the table 3.) they keep the revenue the same

AP and Coaches Polls aren’t great by any means, but they run laps around FPI. Auburn, USC, Nebraska, Arkansas, hell even Miami and Tennessee being as high as they are. This list is atrocious.
