Today, i am at Coastwatch today. I learned a lot about oysters and how important they are for the sea biodiversity in keeping our waters clean. It is very important for us sea swimmers.

Delighted that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hosted a workshop in our Assembly Hall with Coastwatch on “Preventing Oil & Chemical Pollution through Citizen & Local Authority Collaboration”, with field trips to the native oyster bed in the DLR Marina & 40ft.

🙌 Huge thanks to everyone who joined our field trips & workshop on Tuesday, and to Dun Laoghaire Co Co for hosting us! We made great progress, building upon the water pollution issues and alert system ideas discussed in our January workshop in TCD. 🗓️Next one March 22.
