We actually built this at Noteable. Kernels are wholly isolated from the frontend and notebook server (there is no notebook server). In fact, everything is realtime... and you can just close your tabs while outputs get updated.

When we created Noteable we said "Notebooks for Everyone" but I didn't realize we'd get this far. Literally an entire notebook with data loading, analysis, visualization and discussion from a single prompt. Notebooks... for everyone.
