It's funny how a quick phone call can turn into a fun 24hr turn around of a site! Happy to refresh a really classic site for Jeff Atwood, based on the Ghost Source theme. blog.codinghorror.com

I wish we saw more of this sort of quiet, positive civic engagement from the tech industry. I would pick different charities than Jeff Atwood did, and articulate a non-identical version of the American Dream, but as he points out, public-spiritedness itself matters the most.

After years of pretending to be Democrats, Big Tech leaders are now pretending to be Republicans, in hopes of currying favor with the new administration. Beware of the scummy monopoly campaign to vilify competition law as they rip off consumers and crush competitors.

This is so smart and generous Jeff Atwood! Well done. Proud of you even though I don't know you 😊. Tech founder pledges to give away half his wealth to make the American dream more possible msn.com/en-us/money/sm…

"Now more than ever, I think it's important to realize that we've given everyone a Gutenberg printing press that reaches every other human on the planet. At first blush, that sounds amazing. Wow, everybody can talk to everybody! But then the terror sets in: Oh, my God. Everybody

"That, Atwood said, is what he wants. “I want all of us to live the dream and have the pursuit. We’re denying people even the pursuit of happiness. This is outrageous. And un-American.”" news.virginia.edu/content/tech-m…
