Yesterday 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders had a virtual visit with author Jennifer A. Nielsen - Jennifer Nielsen. She is a 2021-2022 Texas Bluebonnet Award winner for "Words on Fire." The students had a great time hearing about her books and learning about her writing process.

Thank you to everyone who donated cookies for our annual cookie drive! All teachers and staff, including guest educators, will be taking home cookies to start off their winter break! Here is Nurse Cockerham picking up her cookies.
