Our brilliant Breakfast Briefing guest was Alistair Smith, editor of The Stage. It was great to hear about their journey from a solely print publication to today's sophisticated digital platform. All whilst being an independent voice in a cacophony of commercial shouting.

I saw 2 brilliantly crafted shows, upstairs Soho Theatre last night. Ben Targét's Lorenzo was hugely moving and tender (and he serves coffee on the way in). liv ello and Frankie Thompson's Body Show is far from subtle but ever clever in all the right ways.

Fascinating ideas in this talk from George Oates thinking long term with data and how we share and maintain information, software and tools without relying on 4 big companies. #MuseTech23

I had a great day at Museums Computer Group #MuseTech23 on Friday. It made me hopeful about how we could have a more mindful and thoughtful internet without a crazed need to put everything online all of the time. I've written about it in the Cog Design journal here: cogdesign.com/journal/a-more…

Great opening talk from our client Timothy Colegate at Lighthouse Poole, tackling the nuanced challenges of dynamic pricing in event ticketing. Some really interesting insights into the audience perception of pricing strategies and how we communicate the rational clearly to them.

Great insights into enhancing your audience’s experience through carefully tailored and thoughtful upsells - but can technology fully replace the human touch? 🤔 Thanks Capital Theatres: Festival, King’s & Studio, Newcastle Theatre Royal and pointOne EPOS #TPC2024

Michele Alexander from AudienceView gave us a gorgeous ramble into the world of how a creative mind untangles, restructures and visualises data. Who knew data strategies could be that fun! #TPC2024

Ditch the AI chat bots says 𝕊𝕒𝕞𝕦𝕖𝕝 𝔹𝕚𝕤𝕔𝕠𝕖! Opt instead for a ‘live chat’ function on your website, connecting you with your audiences and their queries instantly. It provides a more personalised customer service and reduces strain on busy box office phone lines. #TPC2024
