PACJA Exit Press Conference at #COP29 - A call to Climate Action. At #Cop29's closing in Baku, PACJA condemned the lack of meaningful progress on the #NCQG for Climate Finance- emphasizing the urgency for Africa's Climate needs to be addressed.

PACJA voiced disappointment at the slow pace of negotiations, which have failed to produce substantial financial commitments to address Africa's pressing climate crisis, leaving vulnerable communities exposed to devastating impacts. #cop29 #ClimateAction

Despite promises of climate finance breakthroughs, PACJA made it clear that the outcome of #COP29 was inadequate, with developed countries not meeting the scale of Africa's needs, leaving critical issues like adaptation and loss and damage underfunded. #ClimateAction
