It appears as if PLUS loans will count in the new loan forgiveness program!

To understand why this decision is justified, one would need to study the 30 year history of the financial aid system in the US.

Another key aspect of the new loan forgiveness program is the income base repayment change. Borrowers can pay off their student loan based on 5% of their income for 20 years.
