Everyone thinks that success is down to: Hard work. Luck. Intelligence. They're wrong. After building 2 startups in Silicon Valley, I've seen one rare trait all successful founders have. Here's what it is (and how you can build this rare trait too):

Watched Conclave Labia Theatre last night. Incredible cinematography. Starring a masterful Ralph Fiennes. What I'm left with is interesting and thought-provoking moments. Certainty is dangerous, doubt is better. The war to be won is within ourselves. Umbrellas as visual language.

"Style is a very simple matter; it is all rhythm. Once you get that, you can’t use the wrong words. [H]ere am I sitting after half the morning, crammed with ideas, and visions, and so on, and can’t dislodge them, for lack of the right rhythm." Ursula Le Guin, via Goodreads

A plea for 'new writer' awards - please don't assume these writers have to be young. Many pursue writing as 2nd or 3rd careers - new in writing but rich in experience. And many readers/viewers would like novels and dramas with that richness. No #ageism, please, in writing awards
