GitHub Repos + Copilot + Azure DevOps = 🚀 Copilot's agentic powers are best when your code lives in GitHub. Migrating from Azure DevOps to GitHub is even easier - with tooling, guidance, geo expansion & better Azure Boards / Pipeline integration. aka.ms/AAwbh44

🐘💻 PostgreSQL just got a glow-up in VS Code! Now you can query, design, and manage your DBs without leaving your favorite editor. It’s like giving your SQL superpowers a cozy new home. Check it out 👉 aka.ms/AAwdd7v #PostgreSQL #VSCode #DevTools

We’ve been trying out the coding agent on the aspire repository github.com/dotnet/aspire/… Works pretty well for low hanging fruit. #github #codingagent #copilot #githubcopilot

If you have some free time bookmark this video. There’s a significant shift coming to software engineering. I’ve been playing with the coding agent and even though it’s very early, it’s very promising! youtu.be/CKAs9bRMDcQ?si… #agents #copilot #copilotagent

AI agents are here—and they don’t work like traditional apps. If you're a developer, it's time to rethink identity, permissions, and delegation. OAuth needs to evolve, and this post explains why: techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft…

At #MSBuild this month, Mario Rodriguez and I showed how agentic DevOps is remaking how you build and manage software – from ideation to production. In this post, we walk you through how we built Octopets, our demo app. aka.ms/AAwfap8

OK we got this working in < 3 hours, coming in cold turkey to a new codebase (with some help with the bitwarden devs!). #dotnet #aspire

Just finished watching this. One of the best videos on Aspire. I can finally say that I actually now understand what Aspire does I cant believe my ADHD ass actually sat down & watched a 3 hour stream in one go. It was really entertaining & informative. Kudos to David & his team

The industry is so obsessed with "one shotting" full apps with a mega prompt and I find it so uninteresting. Helping out with the backlog and automating all of the business processes as part of software engineering will be much more of a productivity boost.

My mind is a bit blown away, just took a 5 year old Xamarin.Forms app that I had retired from the app store and asked #GitHubCopilot to migrate the code based and modernize it with new navigation, DI, source generators, and more. We were done in under an hour! #dotnetmaui

yep, we've found that #GitHubCopilot is a great asset for Xamarin upgrades. To give it even better context, consider a good set of prompt instructions and custom-instructions. Here are some to get you going. github.com/davidortinau/d… github.com/CommunityToolk…

I’ve been having a blast exploring ways to use LLMs in my #dotnetmaui apps. At Build 2025 I showed an app hitting OpenAI. In just a few minutes I was able to use AI Foundry as well. Now I have tons of models to choose from! devblogs.microsoft.com/dotnet/using-a…

How will coding agents change your code? Scott Hunter talks on .NET Rocks at dotnetrocks.com/details/1953 about the announcements at Build around coding agents - now available in Visual Studio!

#GitHubCopilot coding agent is mind blowing to me. I gave it a pretty simple error code and it knew right away it was a Safari limitation. But then it not only fixed the JavaScript, but created an entire HTML test page to validate it's work! github.com/jamesmontemagn…
