Our 2 year old students took part in Greater Manchester moving May walk this morning to Kale street. They hunted for bugs and had a lovely time exploring the re-wilded green space #SucceedTogether

3AB and eco council took part in an example of a play/school street today. The road was closed to traffic, and they had a chance to ride in cargo bikes and chalk on the roads Our students want a school street outside of Medlock to stop congestion and pollution Ardwick Climate Action

Our Reception students went on a tram to stoller hall to take part in this years singaround with One Education Music Our students worked hard to learn the songs with actions all about space!

Our Nursery 1 & 2 students had a visit today from WildWorkshops The children enjoyed 'Steve' the bug man. They enjoyed seeing all different minibeasts, mouse, spiders and a toad. They loved it 🐭🐸🕷🐞

Our eco council took part in the co-op eco conference. They took part in activities to encourage nature into school such as bird feeders and bee homes. They also had a go at making a smoothie on a bike. #DoWhatMattersMost #SucceedTogether

Early Years Sports Day ⚽️

This week we got active for sports day ⚽️

We shut Wadeson Road this afternoon for Clean Air Day. We took part in many activities including games, junk building, planting seeds and writing pledges on how to stop climate change with support from our eco councillors. Manchester City Council S4B M13 Youth Project

Well done to our year 4 and 5 students who took part in todays session with Bikeability “learn how to ride a bike” #SucceedTogether

This week our some of our year 5 & 6 students took part in their level 1 2 & 3 bikeability sessions. They had a short classroom session then onto the playground. They then went out into the community to learn how to ride safely. Bikeability

Last weekend our year 6 cohort took part in the yearly residential! They had a weekend full of activities including making a raft, climbing and working together as a team! Thank you to our staff members who took time out last weekend to go along!

Eco Council have been working on a code for everyone to follow to make our school a better place. It includes their hopes and ambitions for the future. #DoWhatMattersMost

Our students were invited to the Nat. Football Museum for Patricia Gregory’s induction into their Hall of Fame, they also got to watch the Lionesses England vs Netherlands, eat pizza and make their own badges! #SucceedTogether

Last week, we welcomed musicians from Manchester Camerata and young conductors from across Europe to perform for us. The musicians were blown away by the musical knowledge of our students at Co-op Academy Medlock - musicians of the future! #DoWhatMattersMost #BeYourselfAlways

What a fantastic show of support for our students in Reception this morning They have been working hard the past few weeks along with their teachers to put on a celebration assembly ready to start year 1 in September! 🎉 #ShowYouCare

Today for Culture Day our year 6 cohort led an assembly. Our year 5&6 students then took part in a fashion show to show off their traditional clothing to the rest of the school. #BeYourselfAlways

Today for culture and diversity day & to celebrate the end of the school year next week our parents were invited to our parent picnic. Our school choir performed some great songs they have been practising for today. Thank you to Marie for the delicious snacks! #ShowYouCare
