Granger Hassmann led the Cowboys on day 1 of the Region I-6A Tournament with an even par 72. The Cowboys shot a team score of 304 and are currently in 7th place. Only 8 strokes separate 2nd thru 7th places so anything can happen tomorrow!

Vanessa Close tournament started better than it finished. The Cowgirl Varsity golf team finished in 3rd place behind Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas and Alamo Heights from San Antonio. Freshman Alicia Bellendir finished tied for 4th carding a 72 and 76.
