Happy Autumnal Equinox! We celebrated the change of the season by bringing in our very last grapes; Riesling from the 60 year old Wirz Vineyard in Cienega Valley (note the tasty Botrytis). Cabernets are ticking down to dryness and headed to barrels as the harvest winds down.

We pressed our last lot & the dust is settling on the ‘22 harvest. The grapes were tiny due to ongoing drought, so especially yummy with a high skin-to-juice ratio. We picked our first significant crops in our young blocks at Kronos & Sunbasket & are delighted with the results!
