KS3 Base had a fantastic morning attending a school games Panathlon Xtend Challenge. 12 students in total attended, representing Corpus by taking part in a series of fun and exciting challenges. Thank you to Boston Spa for hosting us and putting on such a fabulous event.

On Wednesday 13th May, selected Year 7–9 PSHCE classes took part in hate crime and wellbeing drama workshops with Dave Cartwright. Students explored emotions and barriers, then created slow-motion theatre pieces to express key themes. They represented the school brilliantly.

On Thursday 14th May, 20 Year 9 students joined PREVENT Empowering Minds workshops, earning praise for their positivity and engagement. After next week’s session, all Year 9s will become PREVENT Ambassadors, helping lead assemblies and raise awareness on key issues.

Last Friday, students from Corpus Christi College and local primary schools took part in a Jubilee pilgrimage to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Crag in Knaresborough. After Mass at St. Mary's Church, we processed to the chapel with Fathers Benjamin and Rino to pray to Mary.
