We've had an overwhelming response to the CPR courses we've run in partnership with CPR Counts this year, that we've decided to run more courses next year. The final course of 2024 is Thursday [7th November] but we'll be running more courses in February, March & April 2025.

We are very grateful for the partnership we've had with 2025 Royal Sutton Fun Run over the last year, meaning many more local people have learned how to save lives. Please support RSFR by 'having a go!' Come and see us both in The Gracechurch Centre this Saturday, 10am till 2pm.

In addition, the team from Sutton based, CPR Counts will be on hand to explain the importance of learning how to administer CPR; deal with someone having a cardiac arrest, heart attack or choking. They will also demonstrate how to use a defibrillator. See you tomorrow :

Why are the news readers on BBC News (UK) persisting today in calling a cardiac arrest a heart attack? They are two very different things and CPR has no place for a heart attack, unless it leads on to cardiac arrest. Based on today's story of Polly the dog barking an alert.
