We offer hot wallets for convenience and to help new people get started more easily, but for the love of God keep the majority of your stack in a hardware wallet. If you use a hardware wallet, don't enter your seed words anyway, not into Cove, not into Sparrow, NO WHERE!!!!

One of my goals with Cove is to reduce the amount of hot wallets being used my making it really simple to use with a hardware wallet Stop putting your seed words into internet connected devices.

PSA: The xpubs and other non private data is included in iCloud back ups, but hot wallet private keys are not. If you transfer phones, seeds will not be transferred over. Those hot wallets, will become watch only wallets, so make sure you have backups.
