PE lessons are not an opportunity to pull pupils out for English/Maths interventions!!!!! Leave them in their lesson!! Often those who require such intervention excel in PE and are being dragged out for 10 mins at a time! It frustrates the pupils! Pet hate!!! 😡😡😡😡

As many now know, Ruth Perry, sister of my friend Professor Julia Waters took her own life following the brutality of an Ofsted inspection at the Caversham Primary School of which she was headteacher. This must never happen again. I stand with Julia in the following:

We call on headteachers (with the support of teaching unions) to: Boycott Ofsted until a thorough, independent review has been conducted and changes implemented Ofsted #ripruthperry #reformofsted

Refuse Ofsted inspectors entry to their school (or, at least, refuse to comply with inspectors’ requests); Remove all references to their school’s Ofsted rating from the school website and other externally-facing materials. Ofsted #ripruthperry #reformofsted
