Avianca expanded its Bogotá hub with new flights to places like Paris, Montréal, and Quibdo. Bogotá seats grew 22.5% in 2024 vs 2023 while the former TACA hub in San Salvador saw seats grow nearly 30%. Seats into the U.S. rose 16% as new cities opened and old ones restarted.

United grew international seats by 12% in 2024 and 2025 is currently filed with a 4% bump but there is more to come. For next summer, United has 41 Transatlantic destinations planned, 42 if Amman is okayed to return. That's up from 28 pre-pandemic.

United's Pacific destinations will be up to 29 including the newly-announced flying of Kaoshiung and Ulaanbatar to complement last year's add of Cebu as the Narita hub rises again.
