Software UIs are going extinct: - AI Agents - MCP - Automated AI workflows These are replacing clicking on application interfaces. You will keep UIs for niche users (for now) but they can be way simpler! Most users will migrate to AI chats to do most of their work.

Never even thought about it before but this has been my go to since day 1.

I think that as we see more tools built for AI first usage (little/no UI features) we will see a lot less “secure” code and a lot more in depth prompting execution/AI guardrail instructions going on behind the scenes.

Can’t wait to see the concept of dashboards get eliminated in SaaS. AI should be live generating any chart or table a user wants that follows a custom brand guideline.

Every trend has an ups/downs over time: - bio-hacks - indie hacking - crypto - vibe-coding - .... If your income relies on a single trend you should either commit to creating a lasting brand that can ride trend waves or see the writing on the wall before its too late.

I often think about how human attention has already/is already being 90%+ captured by LLMs. So thinking LLM attention is the real game makes sense with this thinking in mind.

I see non-tech people talking into their phones to ask chat GPT questions all the time now! If you want a really useful way to integrate AI with your application, make it so your users (especially admins) can configure things by way of a voice-based conversation.

Outside of my current 9-5 I have had one of the least productive years in terms of completing side projects. I have also consumed less matcha than prior years. Coincidence?

One of my first wow moments with a computer was saving a word document to a floppy disk and taking that to another computer and opening it. 💾 Would love to see a resurgence of old school inspired tech with new-age abilities.

My latest obsessions/interests (in no particular order): - single utility devices/tools (camera, iPod, journal, etc) - modding my old Gameboy Advance - coding - my new minimal iPhone Home Screen

At the stage in my Life when I’m trying to stop being precious about things. Items get damaged. Trying to keep things pristine is exhausting & kills mental bandwidth. Work will never be as perfect as it could be. Done is better than a work in progress.

What's the best medium to share your work these days? Thinking about trying to share my process for building my next project and other cool (see dorky) interests I have. All without burning out ofc.

Most days I don’t find time to work on my dreams: Up around 6 for morning with son. Weekdays are long work days & evenings packed with family time/activities. Weekends is maximizing the family time lost to a 9-5 in the week. Each closes w/ passing out exhausted.
