One of Silwood's more bizarre plant combinations. The shrub is the rare hybrid Salix x laurina (mystery arrival) and Allium scorodoprasum (ditto). But great fun.

It's going to be a huge acorn crop this year. The pollinated female flowers are already starting to fatten up and the first young knopper galls are just starting to poke their heads out of the acorn cups.
