As remote learning grew in response to COVID-19, college students with disabilities have seen accommodations made that they’ve been requesting for years. Remote learning has a huge impact on the lives of immunocompromised people & those with chronic pain. buff.ly/3AVXEIq

🆕 We asked doctors and #SLE patients 🏥 separately what they think are the most important disruption points 💥 in #lupus patient pathways...well it's really interesting ⬇️ and we CAN DO MUCH BETTER 👍 Check the full paper (free openaccess 🔓) at: lupus.bmj.com/content/lupuss…

Almost 1/3 of people worldwide need at least one assistive product, such as wheelchairs, spectacles, and hearing aids. But inaccessibility and stigma persist. Time for a shift in thinking, states our Editorial: hubs.li/Q01bTV5q0

✅ Very interesting population-based study (>22M people) about #cardiovascular risk 💥 in #autoimmune diseases, such as #Lupus. #SLE was associated with one of the HIGHEST increase 📈 in cardiovascular events (HR: 2·82 [2·38–3·33]) 💔 A MUST-READ PAPER 🔎 doi.org/10.1016/S0140-…

My primary care and residency class has benefitted immensely from @drkararyan’s teaching on addiction medicine. I hope future generations at Weill Cornell Medicine will have the same opportunity!

Grateful for the opportunity to present my poster at #SGIM23. This was a case of anti-synthetase syndrome complicated by autoimmune myocarditis - a patient who could’ve likely been diagnosed + treated much sooner, had a thorough MSK exam been performed at his initial visit.
