Crazy to think that bullying is still rife in the ostomate community and how people use their platforms to encourage their followers to troll and bully another person who's currently in hospital fighting their own battle because of a difference of opinion. 😒

Today's life lesson, double check the fence blockade your husband put up. She bleeding well escaped and found the biggest oil leak she could find. All of this whilst on a remote all day tutor session. FML. #oilleakpuppy #monsterpuppy #houdini #escapeartist #amusingringdoorbell

Eakin slims have always been a must for me. They extend my bag wear time, protect my skin around my stoma and gives me confidence in not experiencing leaks

This needs to be implemented. Having experienced 12 hrs in A&E and a pass round, the consultant decided on it, finally being a gynea issue. Even though previous gynea has said its colerectal. Now waiting to be reviewed in CDU

When you'd been wearing the same clothes for 48 hrs and my amazing husband comes and helps the invalid shower and change into clean pjs. Trousers are a must because I can't shave my legs as I still can't sit down due to the amount of pain it causes. Heres to new pain meds 🀞

For most of us, this is the reality of #chronicillness I've really not been well for a while. it's been discovered that my buddy, the cyst, has got a lot larger Whenever I come up to A&E, I always pack my medication and stoma supplies. Alongside an overnight bag and a wash kit

Having had sepsis a few times this is so important to share. It's still one of the most common misdiagnosed or not diagnosed silent and invisible killer. September is sepsis awareness month

It's so important to be aware of ones anatomy and not be ashamed to ask for help, a referral to get it checked. It annoys me that its automatically assumed that intimate itching is down to stds. I'm still waiting for my vulva dermatology appointment πŸ˜ͺ

There needs to be so much more advocation for womens reproductive health. We are fobbed off too often and learn to suffer in a circle of silence

crohns fighting (@crohnsfighting) 's Twitter Profile Photo

⬇️ This ⬇️ So much more awareness needs to be raised. We have to advocate for ourselves. I've been told by previous consultants that the symptoms were in my head. It's taken two years to get a half diagnosis from gynea and a 6 month wait for vulva dermatology appointments
