Ed Van Impe -- the second captain in Philadelphia Flyers history, a blueline stalwart on two Cup teams and later a TV broadcaster -- passed away on Tuesday night. He was surrounded by family at his side. Ed was 84. Condolences to the Van Impe family, teammates and friends.
