Our latest preprint is out! We present our take on scalable sketches "à la Sourmash" biorxiv.org/content/10.110… A "lightweight" thread:

And since we pack our superkmers in buckets associated to a given minimizer, we can also optimize the comparisons of dissimilar sketches and globally ensure cache coherency

Overall we are able to perform large scale comparisons using a fraction of Sourmash ressource (that is already pretty efficient) for the same amount of indexed kmers.
