Last week, I attended my first international conference as an academic, #CSCW2023, in #minneapolis . Undertaking my #PhD during a #pandemic prevented any prior in-person conferences taking place, so it was tremendous to be able to connect with peers from around the globe.

Last week, I presented my paper "Crossing the threshold: pathways into makerspaces for women at the intersectional margins" (doi.org/10.1145/3579599) at #CSCW2023 in #minneapolis. It won #bestpaper and recognition for contribution to #diversityandinclusion!
