The New Forest holds a significant southern lowland population of breeding Curlew. c.46 pairs in 2020, 43 in 2021, and just c.33 in 2022. Important research is being conducted by our partner The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust to investigate the causes of this sad decline #WorldCurlewDay
