UCSF radiologists are actively involved in #research programs to develop new #imaging methods to detect inflammation in the liver, thought to be the underlying cause of liver injury caused by #hepatitis B virus infection. bit.ly/2ClZqKe

Rebooting the St. Louis #NMR discussion group with Cornelius von Morze and Sophia Hayes (ℏayes) PhD next Wednesday (06/15) at 9 am CST in Wrighton Hall Room 201 @WUSTL. Profs. Joseph Ackerman & Joel Garbow will present about imaging tumor metabolism using deuterium MRI. Hope to see you there!

So sad to share this news about Jake Schaefer, one of the pioneers of solid-state #NMR. He was a mentor and colleague to me for 2 decades at WashU, and he touched many lives. Our labs are emptier today with his absence. May his memory a blessing to all who learned from him.
