Lab of Cyanobacterial Systematics & Stress Biology lab was represented thru excellent posters showing our #jammukashmir #NorthEast #cyanobacteria #taxonomy work by NARESH SALOCH and Dr. Sagarika Pal at #NSSECA2023 2017 onwards, we've always come out with awards in every offline conference and this time too we won😍

Can't wait to get to work on these samples. Thank you Dr. Mahesh Chavadar for supporting our lab with #algae from these stunning habitats. We Lab of Cyanobacterial Systematics & Stress Biology feel blessed 2 get #algal samples from generous collabs like you and many others, all spread across India❤️ #phycologyfriday

I'm excited to announce that I have joined as a #Postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr Muriel Gugger at the Institut Pasteur, since 1887 !! 😃😃

Aniket Saraf bids adieu to Lab of Cyanobacterial Systematics & Stress Biology & joins Institut Pasteur, since 1887 as #postdoc! Nothing better to see your first student fly so high and land up at a place as good as #PCC! Our teams are #nowseparate but the flag of #cyanobacterialsystematics keeps on flying high. All d best!

Congratulations to the entire team! Let us keep exploring and discovering. We look forward to welcome passionate students bringing up more discoveries just like Aniket Saraf Deeksha NARESH SALOCH Dr. Sagarika Pal Harsh Pant

The lab thanks Dr. Sagarika Pal for the excellent Pre-PhD seminar. The #NorthEast #cyanobacteria story is something that we'll be always proud of! In spite of a global pandemic the way she explored the remote areas of Northeast India is something that we'll remember with gratitude!

Honestly, we were convinced this rock would yield nothing coz of no visible algae-like growth But nature & Dr. Sagarika Pal had other plans: three cyanobacterial strains, three different genera, and a new species—Nostoc sikkimense. Sometimes, it’s really good to be proved wrong!
