Good god. Even I who knew it was staggeringly bad, did not know the extent. Travel with me into the abyss that is the Minneapolis Police Department. The abyss that you somehow think is reformable, cuz your body is not on the line.

Yes! This is a smart way to prevent vaccines being discarded. And for anyone concerned about the ethics of "jumping the line" (as I am), providers will still try to get the vaccines to people in high-risk groups first, while also preventing wasted doses.

Daunte Wright's mom: "The last few days, everybody has asked me what we want ... Everybody keeps saying justice ... There's never going to be justice for us. Justice would bring our son home ... So justice isn't even a word to me. I do want accountability. 100% accountability."

Please don’t stop sharing. Please I’m pleading. I am beyond tired. I don’t know how much longer I can keep this up. We really need to find my brother please. Please help me. Please

I know that they’re doing this in an attempt to neutralize any response, but the more I see the lengths that Mayor Frey and the police department are going to avoid addressing the public, the angrier I feel.

There’s nothing I can say about Jacob Frey that won’t get me banned from this website. He is truly scum, and it’s embarrassing that the people of Minneapolis reelected him. I pray we don’t have to watch him cry at another casket of a Black man he is complicit in the murder of.

If all this falls apart...it's been a good 12 years, folks. I mean, sort of. In any case, I've met some great people—some of them in person, even!—through this account.

the world is an unmitigated disaster, wherein the worst possible dystopian visions of every piece of fiction have somehow come to pass simultaneously. also, though, here is a picture of pobrecita chancleta climbing on me when he was only a couple weeks old.

Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Oakland, and all the ships at sea: Look at these lovely, lovey babies! Surely there's a home and heart out here big enough for them.

So what do you get when you combine the killing of 40 million US egg laying hens, 28 million farmed chickens, and a fuckton of ducks, geese and poultry, due to H5N1?

🚨 SF Bay Area I truly don't understand how Monster Biscuit hasn't been adopted yet 😔 He is such a sweet little boy who just wants a person to call his own. All of his littermates were adopted, yet he still waits for someone to notice him 💔 friendsofbearcatrescue.org/contact

A hill I will die on is that the democratic response to 30 million people participating in the George Floyd protests is responsible for a large chunk of the nihilism and detachment we see in our politics today
