Today is my last day as Director of Aston Institute for Forensic Linguistics with Krzysz and Nicci MacLeod taking over as Director and Deputy from tomorrow. Krzysz and I joined Aston on August 1st 2007 (that's 17 yrs ago ), with Malcom Coulthard we launched the Centre for Forensic Linguistics in 2008 (16 yrs ago)
