We’re super-excited Sue Jolley won Making Music UK’s President’s Award in recognition of 15 years of volunteering for our choir. Sue has given countless hours to our choir, despite commitments of her own. All choirs need a Sue! Congratulations 👏🏻

We are proud that Bob Chilcott, long time friend and supporter of our choir, is our new president. Bob’s repertoire has always been a firm favourite for us, and his visits never fail to delight and inspire choristers and music staff alike. We look forward to more of the same!

Describing the arts as an outlet for ‘less academic students’ is patronising. Suggesting disadvantaged children can’t handle academic rigour is even worse! EVERY child deserves a well taught, ambitious curriculum that improves their life chances. This is just low expectations!

SOLD OUT! We are looking forward to our next concert in Brigg with Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir in April. We have sold all of our tickets and unfortunately cannot fit anymore audience in! It will be a great concert.

Last Saturday's 'Sounds of Spring' was a complete sell out and we had a fabulous evening with Sine Nomine , conducted by Benjamin Kirk. Thank you to everyone who made the event possible, especially our wonderful choristers who sang so beautifully.

We loved singing with Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir. Their enjoyment of singing is not only heard in the fantastic sound they make but also their incredible ‘singer’s faces’! An inspirational evening - more photos and videos to follow!
