This is outrageous. On what basis is DHS arresting a United States Senator trying to ask questions at a press conference? You aren’t breaking the law when you conduct constitutional oversight or ask questions of the agency head who is arresting lawfully present immigrants.

Kristi Noem’s DHS is: 1) violating due process 2) disobeying court orders, 3) abusing the legal process to trap and deport non-violent, non-criminal immigrants, and 4) now forcibly detaining a sitting U.S Senator for trying to ask a question. Secretary Kristi Noem must resign immediately.

This further confirms a fundamental misunderstanding about the Middle East by the extreme left. The Ayatollah has declared war on democracy, which is why he wants death to Israel AND the United States. If you are supporting the Iran regime, you are opposing the United States.

Trump promised to go after the worst of the worst; instead he’s targeting nonviolent, law-abiding asylum seekers. People following the law and pursuing legal immigration paths are being tricked, detained, and punished for doing things the right way. This makes us all unsafe.

Iran has now retaliated against the U.S. and thankfully no missiles reached their targets nor injured anyone. After a preemptive defensive action against Iran’s nuclear program, the U.S. must not retaliate and instead turn to de-escalation and diplomacy to avoid war.

Why is the Speaker of the House — the most powerful member of the Legislative Branch — the strongest proponent for Executive Branch power? @speakerjohnson continues to roll over like a lap dog to Trump — abdicating his constitutional duty to be a check and balance on POTUS.
