Dan Luu I think this part in particular is really underrated. Once you can go really fast, things become possible that were impossible to contemplate before. Tailscale wouldn’t exist if we had done things the regular way. It’s supposed to be unthinkable.

There's been a lot of talk about how we'll see a serious WordPress fork soon. To make it concrete, is there a > 50% chance we'll see a WordPress or WP plugin infra fork with significant market share within 1 year of today (>= 3 of the top 15 hosted WP providers are using it)?

A funny side effect of the crackdown on "AI" scraping is that I keep getting banned from sites for browsing too quickly. I barely use reddit anymore and I still managed to get IP banned for scraping (the error page suggested contacting them to license data instead of scraping).

A version of Missile Command for the Commodore 64 where the bottom of your screen is the game state in memory and missiles cause memory corruption: csdb.dk/release/?id=13…. In the video below, a missile broke my controls and caused my cursor to get stuck moving down and left.
