The book has two parts - first, we introduce the potential of written text in exploring interdisciplinary research questions related to the environment. Simple illustrated examples introduce basic concepts and data sources, and are accompanied by code to try out. 2/5

7 case studies, produced by interdisciplinary teams form the core of the book. Each case study explores in a research question in detail, across a wide range of temporal and geographic scales. 3/5

Very pleased to be part of this collaborative multidisciplinary effort exploring how text analysis can contribute to environmental research in the humanities and sciences! Special thanks to Ross (GC@UZH) and Olga (Olga Koblet) for all their hard work bringing this to fruition.
