Rewatching a show you watched a lot when you were young as an adult is like: "Woah there's a lot of not-so-subtle messages that I completely missed when I was younger... Or did I?" And then makes you wonder if it had more of an impact on you than you thought it did

Deciding to watch house of the dragon feels like getting back together with an ex. I think they've changed and I hope they don't hurt me again, but if I hear they're so much talking to D&D it's over for good

Spoken like someone who's more concerned with creating a pleasant twitter experience than he is with maximizing engagement!

It’s really mind-blowing seeing the The New York Times—one of the chief purveyors of false/misleading “doomsday headlines” about crime in NY & around country—now reporting on the electoral impact of their own harmful journalism practices. And yet mentioning only other papers & “media.”

I always hated the "message a random tweet as a notification" feature that Twitter has, but it's starting to seem kinda like pathetic self promotion now that this is the third day in a row it's either been from or about Elon.

The link I used to see tweets from people I follow in order from most->least recent, x.com/search?q=filte… broke yesterday. I'm not sure if it was an intentional move by Twitter or just broken. Does anyone know how I can avoid rereading the same tweets from 2 days ago?

hope none of you are following anyone who would tweet a bunch of filler just to hasten the demise of the whole platform

not sure who would do that though. oh i better not thread more than three tweets at a time or the ones in the middle might be collapsed
