Webinars are boring. Who would go to a webinar? We did an Exit Five webinar yesterday on AI and SEO for marketers (what's changing, where things are going, what to know) and had 600 people live. Average time spent in the webinar was 56 minutes. No hacks. Just content/audience

The cool part for me with AI is that I feel like I can do more things on my own. Software is getting even easier to use. Building web pages, decks, even videos by being able to write/prompt. It feels more like one big video game to make things. All you need is a laptop. That part

Podcasting has been a Trojan Horse for learning marketing in my career. I've been working in marketing for ~15 years now (starting with PR internship up to CMO and now running my own company). That experience on the job has been great and of course matters. You have to actually

I think there’s a lot of cool use cases for AI. And I also think a lot of the use cases are bullshit. Can both things be true?

You know it’s always going to be the same right? AI or not. Or whatever comes after AI. Create something that is valuable. Do things that are worthy of being talked about and shared. I worry that we’re not spending enough time there And instead obsessing over what the LLMs

I don’t understand vibe marketing. How did stitching together 12 different software tools - but doing so using AI - become “vibe marketing.” That seems like robotic marketing. Vibe marketing … Here’s the vibe marketing I can get behind: 1. You have amazing tools that can
