Fantastic talks regarding the challenges and impacts associated with various overshoot scenarios, highlighting that once the cryosphere exceed a given temperature threshold, it locks in glacier mass loss and thus contributions to sea-level rise. Highly recommend watching!

The amount of data that are inaccessible, despite the push to open science, is mind-boggling. Some data availability statements are almost laughable and would be better stated as "These data are not available". Let's do better.

"On the feasibility of #glacier preservation" - the title of my World view just out in Nature Water nature.com/articles/s4422… Simple take-away: No, we can't preserve glaciers artificially at larger scales! But yes, we can partly save them by limiting CO2-emissions.
