This is absolutely absurd copyright trolling. Wish EFF or similar went to bat for this kind of stuff. alistairshepherd.uk/writing/open-g…

The new Don Broco single goes so hard. It's clearly a total love letter to late 90s Korn (especially the video) but they're easily my favourite British rock band in that "alt rock not quite metal" segment. youtu.be/L8CEs2tvKy0?si…

Whenever someone mentions The Matrix these days I have a pavlovian reflex where Cypher by Northlane starts playing in my head. Such a straight up banger, and one of my favourite tech metal / industrial / electro blends. youtu.be/L4AcFxa-qXE?si…

One of the side-effects of the Startup model / entry points in modern .NET is people forget to design good bootstrapping code, so every .NET process just looks like a bunch of DI registrations that doesn't hint at what a program does. Horrible second order effect. Kinda hate it.

Sincerely, if the entry point of your software isn't basically an index of all the things your program does, it's probably bad design. Good examples: a route table, some kinda CLI command switch, some event handler registrations, etc. Hundreds of lines of config mulch? Bad.
