People defending hereditary peers in the House of Lords are characterising their abolition as a choice between the hereditary principle and more life peers appointed by Prime Minister of the day. It’s a false choice. The choice should be between all peers and a House of Citizens

Cannot wait to attend Tom’s Bar BatterseaArtsCentre ❤️ Hope the one and only Tom Cameron will be designing his own bar sign 😍 Well done to team for fantastic 50th birthday. Magic to see so many old friends including legend that is Mo - longest ever serving Battersea team member 🥹❤️

As a trustee I was so proud of BatterseaArtsCentre and Martin Linton who was a key driver of BAC's creation and continued survival. Martin's role was celebrated at BAC's amazing 50th birthday party. So many told him 'BAC is here because of you' - what a legacy! Now it's (y)our turn

I am actually enjoying how desperate and breathless the advertising is becoming on this website. Sign of a failing business model. If you poison the water hole, people bugger off. In process of migrating to David Jubb.bsky.social and also angelos parmatzias.bsky.social

Last night I attended an event in Westminster called 'The Lords work in mysterious ways?' which was about House of Lords reform. I thought I’d share some headlines from it.. davidjubb.blog/2024/11/28/oh-…
