A3: Important qualities: interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, clinical knowledge, clinical experience. Clinical research background a plus #ATSchat

A4: In academic research, the focus is on knowledge generation. In industry, the focus is (generally) drug development. This means attention to strategy and risks, which are not really considered in academia. This was totally new for me! #ATSchat
