Many of you who know me well will be aware that 2024 has been hugely challenging for me and this little event had to be postponed. But I was now able graduate with a PhD in soil science. Thank you to all who have helped me on the journey you know who you are.

The stability of soil, their structure and aggregates in water is a key way of assessing good structure. Here are two soils that looked identical to the eye and in the VESS test but behaved very differently in water #soilhealth

Two samples from same field - one regen grazed with long swards and long rest periods, the other not Photosynthesis changes soil if you manage to let it The restored soil grows almost twice as big plants (and our before is better than most farmed soils)

At #ProjectLamport we are excited about building productions systems that sustainably manage grass weeds while building healthy soils. Samples from plots below taken metres apart from a replicated trial in year 8 currently in winter wheat.
