What a joy to remember that she is our Mother! Since she loves us and knows our weakness, what have we to fear? Saint Therese of Lisieux 🌺

Danny Charles Tingler Everything he said was dead on — and the fact you can’t see it only proves how far your theology has drifted from the Church that Christ actually founded. You’ve fashioned for yourself a god who lies — a god who calls the wicked righteous by legal decree alone, as if divine

Fundamentalist Protestantism would turn this into a no knock arrest warrant. (So would the common perception of reformed theology, but I think reformed theology is a little bit more nuanced.)

Many popular protestant apologists want to so strongly support the primacy of “grace” that in the “faith versus works” debate, they completely obliterate even post baptismal works done in grace. Here is what they don’t understand: the natural corollary of what they are saying

wcmcghee2 Danny ✝️ River de los Muertos ⚰️🥀🅿️ Grace is the unmerited favor of God. If it’s not gratis its not gratia. we should daily be conforming more to the likeness of Christ, in fulfillment of Matthew 5:48. Grace is transformational, not just imputed. We become a new creation through justification, not just “ lipstick

Many would rather say “I’m such filth in front of a holy God,” Rather than say, “I am so loved by my awesome father.” At some point, our faith journey has to leave the legalistic and become relational, if we are to obtain the wonderful promises of God!
