Google’s Aristotle project (Google it!) offers, to me, the missing piece in the puzzle: any progress in fixing a productivity problem needs teams at all levels in the NHS (and that includes the highest level: Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and @hmm treasury) to have these 5 variables:
