Our labs' first large-scale voltage imaging (raw traces) using pAce in an awake mouse! Acquired with a 1p scope and a high-speed camera. >60 spiking cells in this field. Surgeries by first grad student Kieran! #icnlabs Ganesh Vasan, PhD

We interrogated the model much like an experimentalist interrogates the brain---ablating and recording from every filter. We found a simple mechanism for dot size selectivity: Detect the four corners of the dot and inhibit dots with large edges. 200+ compact models to go!

this is fantastic! embracing the complexity of sensory representations is the way to go. hopefully one of many entries to come in an encyclopedia of V4 single unit selectivity.
